Shipping Policy
At Sports Emporium, we strive to get your cricket gear and sporting goods to you as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please review our shipping policy carefully, as our dispatch times vary seasonally.
1. Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to addresses throughout New Zealand only.
2. Shipping Costs & Methods

Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order.
- We primarily use PosteHaste for deliveries.
3. Order Processing & Dispatch Times
Our order processing and dispatch times are subject to our store operating hours, which vary seasonally.
A. During Peak Season (1st September to 30th April)

Store Hours for Operations & Support:
- Tuesday - Friday: 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM
- Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Monday: Closed

Dispatch Days: Orders are dispatched from our store only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Order Processing: Orders placed outside of these dispatch days will be processed on the next available dispatch day. For example, an order placed on a Monday will be dispatched on Tuesday.

Friday Dispatch & Weekend Delivery: Please note that goods dispatched on a Friday will not have weekend delivery and will typically be delivered the following week.
B. During Off-Peak Season (1st May to 31st August)

Store Hours for Operations & Support:
- Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM
- Monday - Friday: Closed for in-person shopping, but online orders are processed.

Dispatch Days:

Online purchases made Monday - Thursday: Will be dispatched the next business day.

Purchases made on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday: Will be dispatched on the next available weekday dispatch day (e.g., a purchase made on Friday will typically be dispatched on the following Monday or Tuesday).

Weekend Delivery: Again, purchases dispatched on a Friday will not have weekend delivery and will only reach customers the following week.
4. Estimated Delivery Times
Once dispatched, estimated delivery times are typically:

North Island: 1-3 business days

South Island: 2-4 business days
- Please note: These are estimates provided by our courier partners and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., public holidays, rural addresses, adverse weather conditions, courier delays).
5. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number. You can use this number to track the status of your delivery directly on the courier's website.

6. Undeliverable Packages & Incorrect Address
- It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the shipping address is accurate.
- If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, or if the package is undeliverable after multiple attempts by the courier, the customer may be responsible for the redelivery costs.
- If a customer chooses to cancel the order due to an undeliverable package, a refund will be issued for the product cost, minus original shipping fees and any return-to-sender fees incurred by us.
7. Lost or Damaged Packages
- If your order arrives damaged, please photograph the damage to both the packaging and the product and contact us immediately at [Your Email Address].
- If a package is lost in transit, please contact us. We will initiate an inquiry with the courier on your behalf. Investigations can take time, but we will keep you informed of the process.
8. In-Store Pickup (Click & Collect)
You may also choose to pick up your online order directly from our physical store in Lower Hutt during our operating hours.
- Please select the "In-Store Pickup" option at checkout.
- You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for pickup.
